SUN CITY, Ariz. (AP) — Two suspects have been arrested in connection with recent "kick-in" burglaries in the Sun City area and two more men are being sought.
Maricopa County Sheriff's officials say 20-year-old Marco A. Elias Martinez and 21-year-old Arvin Toledo Garcia are being held on suspicion of multiple counts of second-degree burglary and trafficking in stolen property.
Sheriff's detectives say four men allegedly committed more than 50 residential burglaries throughout Sun City and Sun City West over the past two months, targeting homes where the owners were on vacation.
The group allegedly kicked in a door to get inside and then stole flat screen TVs, jewelry, firearms and computers.
Items linking Martinez and Garcia to the case were found after deputies and Surprise police served search warrants Friday on homes in El Mirage.
