(KFYI News) The Grand Canyon is part of a new collection of Forever Stamps from the US Postal Service. It's part of the American Treasures series featuring Hudson River School artists.
In 1912, Thomas Moran painted a breathtaking landscape of the Grand Canyon and his famous work will be honored.
Moran was part of the 19th century Hudson River School Art Movement that celebrated America's natural beauty. Works by Thomas Cole, Asher B. Durand and Frederic Edwin Church will also be commemorated.
