At the year mark of the Boston Marathon bombing, runners gathered to show how boston strong they were. The crowd was crazy, but the loudest cheer in the marathon was reserved for a man who collapsed just short of the finish line only to be carried across it by four other runners. All five runners finished the race with an overwhelming amount of support from the crowd.
Check out pictures tweeted out during the race yesterday!

Determined, the two new saviors lifted his legs. He had just a few hundred feet to go. They would get him there pic.twitter.com/5tXvNyDGUJ— Wesley Lowery (@WesleyLowery) April 21, 2014
The crowd exploded into loudest cheer I've heard today. Walking, then jogging, they all, all 5, finished the race pic.twitter.com/HE4QJnh35L— Wesley Lowery (@WesleyLowery) April 21, 2014
