Ashton Kutcher testified yesterday at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in Washington, D.C. in a bid to end modern slavery and human sex trafficking. The hearing kicked off with Senator John McCain joking that Kutcher looked better "in the movies." Kutcher responded with a wide grin and then blew the senator a kiss. Then mood soon turned serious.
Kutcher started to passionately speak out on why he testified.
During his testimony, the actor choked back tears, explaining some of his experiences.
Kutcher is the co-founder of Thorn, a non-profit that builds technology to fight the sexual exploitation of children.
