Arizona's Rep. Michelle Udall, R-Mesa, is working on declaring, according to ABC15, "pornography is a crisis leading to a broad spectrum of individual and public health impacts," and wants to turn this into an example. Question is, do you think this falls under "public health crisis"?
"The resolution says pornography "perpetuates a sexually toxic environment that damages all areas of our society," and "potential detrimental effects on pornography users include toxic sexual behaviors, emotional, mental and medical illnesses and difficulty forming or maintaining intimate relationships," and says porn is "directly harming our nation's youth by contributing to the hyper-sexualization of teens and even children ...."
So far this has been passed through the Arizona House but many feel like it makes sense however, it's missing one thing - education.
