Meghan Markle Wants To Relaunch Her Fashion & Lifestyle Blog 'The Tig'

Meghan Markle is making moves.

In January, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they'd be stepping down from their positions as full time working members of the Royal Family. In addition to stepping down as Royals, Meghan and Prince Harry revealed they would become financially independent from the crown. While they didn't give many more details than that at the time, the pair has since moved from London to Vancouver Island in Canada and, finally, to Los Angeles. Now settled in Meghan's hometown, the Duchess is ready to get to work.

On Friday (March 27), Disney confirmed the rumors that Meghan recorded voiceover work for the upcoming Disneynature documentary Elephant. The film is set to premiere on Disney+ on April 3. The Disney deal is believed to be Meghan's first step back into her career after exiting royal life. A source close to the Duchess told Us Weekly that Meghan is interested in writing another cookbook—she co-authored 2018’s Together: Our Community Cookbook, which benefitted the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire—and wants to relaunch her fashion and lifestyle blog The Tig.

Not only is Meghan planning her own comeback, she and her husband are working on their joint philanthropic efforts, as well. “Meghan has heaps of projects in the works,” the same source told Us Weekly. While it was originally reported that she and Prince Harry would launch a charity or non-profit organization, they've since shut those rumors down. They didn't give any other hints about their upcoming project will be, however, they promised to fill the public in when the time is right.

The insider also told the outlet that in addition to their careers, Harry and Meghan are also preparing to grow their family sometime in the near future. They have no immediate plans to bring another child into the world, however, the source says Meghan and Harry will “start trying in earnest pretty soon." For now, though, their main focus is taking care of their 10-month-old son Archie.
