Governor Doug Ducey addressed the growing coronavirus cases in Arizona in a press conference Thursday afternoon. Ducey announced that he’s ordering restaurants to limit capacity to less than 50%, something many other states have already enacted. The number will be based on fire code capacity.
This comes as Arizona has become as a national hotspot for COVID-19 since Ducey loosened stay-home restrictions in mid-May.
Ducey also says that they’re working to expand testing at the West Phoenix surge site.
