WATCH: Woman runs in front of MAX train, loses leg

This TriMet surveillance video shows Andrea "Amy" Laing running in front of an oncoming MAX train at the Elmonica/Southwest 170th Avenue Station in Beaverton on Nov. 16, 2015. The train ran over her, severing her leg and causing other serious injuries. In February, a Multnomah County jury awarded her $15 million -- but the amount likely will be reduced to between $682,800 and $8.7 million, depending on how a judge interprets Oregon law in this case.
