Cave Creek Has Cancelled Their Fireworks Over Wildfire Concerns

 

Cave Creek has cancelled their popular fireworks show because htey are concerned about wildfires. 

"After much consideration, research and input from local emergency responders, we have determined that with the extreme drought conditions currently present in the Town of Cave Creek it is not safe to allow Display Fireworks," Chief Building and Fire Official Mike Baxley stated. 

A ot of people and businesses are upset because this has been a tradition for the last 24 years! They also expected 6,000 people to attend but it's a smart decision because wildfires are no joke.
