By 2025 Kroger Plans To Get Rid Of Plastic Bags Entirely

Kroger stores across the country has announced that they are planning to get rid of plastic bags by 2025 as a way to become more environmentally friendly. This started with the plastic bag ban in California but will reach the rest of the country before you know it.

Kroger Co. orders about 6 billion bags each year for its stores in 35 states and the District of Columbia, which cater to almost 9 million people daily through two dozen different grocery chains.

Starbucks and McDonald's are also working on getting environmentally savvy by getting rid of plastic straws. So it looks like down the road we as consumers will be able to help our planet!
