Talking Stick Resort and Casino officially announced they will reopen their resort on September 24th! This comes weeks after a monsoon wiped out their power and flooded parts of the resort.

"We appreciate everyone's patience during this time, as we made the decision early on to only reopen the property after ensuring quality work was completed, verified and authorized by qualified agencies," Crystal Banuelos, chair of the Salt River Community Gaming Enterprises Board of Directors, said in a letter posted on Facebook on Monday.

To celebrate their reopening, the resort is offering a series of specials and promotions for gamblers, including $150,000 in cash and prizes beginning Oct. 1, according to a statement by the resort.

The resort will also debut their fall concert series with a performance by Boy George and Culture Club, the B-52s, and Thomas Bailey of the Thompson Twins on Sept. 30.

Glad to see they are finally opening back up!

"After the dedicated work of several staff and skilled contractors, the necessary repairs were made to restore the property's electrical system and other areas," Banuelos wrote.
