The most followed person on Instagram just announce she is taking a break from social media! This person is of course Selena Gomez. She has 143.5 million followers and gets paid millions for sponsored posts on IG!

Selena updated the caption of the last picture she posted and wrote:

"Taking a social media break. Again. As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given."

But why? The comments

Selena also put in a little reminder that negative comments hurt—no matter who they're directed at. She cautioned, "Just remember- negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings. Obvi."

Selena wants to recharge on the positivity and show everyone that it's possible to take a break. Question I leave you with is, would you ever take a break from social media?

Mood lol (I was looking at myself in the mirror -like an idiot!) Update: taking a social media break. Again.
