I am usually that person who waits till last minute to buy candy for the trick-or-treaters which happens to the most expensive time to buy candy!

Here are some tips to help you save some money this year!

1. Buy candy BEFORE October - don't procrastinate anymore

2. Make your own costumes

3. Set a budget

4. Look for free events in your area

5. Don't just buy stuff in the Halloween aisle! - Get creative again!

6. Print out jack-o-lantern patterns

7. Reuse the pumpkin

8. Plan ahead

Also this is a tip I love - wait for Halloween clearance! At Target it is usually about 70% a week after Halloween so you can treat yourself to candy on a deal but also you can get costumes cheaper for next year!
