I feel like everyday I get proven that weirder and weirder things exist! Now there are Christmas tree-flavored chips!
To get that distinct Christmas taste, the chips, which are produced by a food brand called IcelandOpens a New Window., are coated in something called “pine salt flavor seasoning.” According to the list of ingredients, said seasoning basically consists of sea salt and pine oil. Yum!
According to US Weekly, the chips cost $1.30 and will be sold a variety of stores in the UK!
“At Iceland we are always evolving our product range to include the latest foods and trends,” Iceland head chef, Neil Nugent, told U.K. publication News ShopperOpens a New Window.. “The Christmas tree crisps have a slight ready salted flavor with a hint of pine that creates a completely new combination, unlike any other festive flavor.”
The only catch here is that these chips are only sold in the UK for now but honestly, I am so curious! I might book a trip or have someone mail them to me!
