It is looking like Roseanne Barr might want to put the Twitter machine to rest once and for all. After her first Twitter rant a few months ago that led to the cancellation of her show, Roseanne, that was doing well with ratings. Now Roseanne took to Twitter to complain about how the spinoff the Conners, killed off her character after it premiered last night on ABC.
Her Rabbi friend, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach even made a statement on her behalf.
“While we wish the very best for the cast and production crew of The Conners, all of whom are deeply dedicated to their craft and were Roseanne’s cherished colleagues, we regret that ABC chose to cancel Roseanne by killing off the Roseanne Conner character. That it was done through an opioid overdose lent an unnecessary grim and morbid dimension to an otherwise happy family show."
