Justin Timberlake Wrote 'Cry Me A River' In 2 Hours

If you are a giant Justin Timberlake like myself, you know all about the emotional track Cry Me A River that at one point or another, everyone has been able to relate to.

According to People Magazine, JT wrote this song in about 2 hours back in 2002 after be broke up with Britney Spears.

In his new book, Hindsight: & All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Me, that his intense emotions made songwriting quick.

“I’ve been scorned. I’ve been pissed off,” he explains. “I wrote ‘Cry Me a River’ in two hours. I didn’t plan on writing it.”

Kind of crazy how a breakup can impact you especially if you are an artist! Look at what it did for JT!
