According to CBS News, Valentine's Day is the second busiest days for the USPS following Christmas so when I tell you that UPS is expecting to deliver 89 million plus flowers today, you shouldn't be too surprised!
"Before the flowers make it to that point, they are cut from fields in Latin America. "Our aircraft has air temperature control to make sure the flowers stay at their upmost freshness for our customers," said Becca Hunnicutt, UPS spokesperson. UPS added 50 extra flights to support Valentine's Day volume."
And it all pays off!
