#BREAKING: 'Empire' Producers Have Removed Jussie Smollett's Character

THIS JUST IN: Jussie Smollett's character, according to Fox 10, has been cut from the final episodes of Empire per the shows producers. This comes after he was charged with "felony disorderly for filing a false police report" due to his salary and wanting a career boost.

"Empire" Executive Producers Lee Daniels, Danny Strong, Brett Mahoney, Brian Grazer, Sanaa Hamri, Francie Calfo and Dennis Hammer released a statement saying Smollett's character, Jamal, was being removed from the final two episodes of the season "to avoid further disruption on set." 

No details yet about the future seasons of the show so far.
