Kids Are Getting Tipsy Off Vanilla Extract

According to ABC News, kids are finding another new way to get drunk and this time is has to do with an item probably in your pantry. It's vanilla extract. Apparently this is happening at a school in Atlanta. The school, Grady High School, has made a comment about it saying "that some students are going to a grocery store and buying bourbon vanilla extract."

They aren't straight up drinking it - they are adding it to other drinks to get a boost. Did you know that vanilla extract is "70 proof"? A small bottle is a bit "less that a bottle of vanilla."
