You most likely know celebrity trainers Chris and Heidi Powell from ABC's Extreme Weight Loss where they've helped dozens of individuals shed unwanted pounds. Today they added another accolade to their repertoire, Radio Show Hosts! As Mathew recovers from back surgery the duo filled in this week with Priscilla on Mix 96.9 and shared some tips they've learned through their lives to hopefully help in yours moving forward!
Chris and Heidi open up with their most important tip for beginning your own weight loss journey, that is introducing one thing at a time. Chris says that putting too many things on your plate at once is a quick way to knock yourself off track. Adding one lifestyle change, sticking to it, and then adding more is a more beneficial way to stay on track as opposed to trying to tackle all your goals at once. Heidi adds that being realistic is paramount, and that picking yourself up when you're down is more important than not failing at all. When it comes to balance in their life, the pair says that creating a balance specific to themselves and drowning out the noise is key to navigating life.
