Newspaper delivery man brings groceries to seniors amid coronavirus

A newspaper delivery man, Greg Dailey, and his family step up to help their community by delivering groceries to seniors during this coronavirus pandemic. For the past 25 years he has delivered newspapers to 800 homes in his community in New Jersey but has decided to add groceries to his route.

"These are unprecedented times and people still have to eat," said Dailey to “Good Morning America” in an interview. "We're a big family that believes in helping each other."

The idea hit him when an elderly woman asked him to drop her newspaper closer to her garage to limit her time outside and he realized that she may not have anyone to get her groceries. The next day Dailey delivered his newspapers with a personal note offering to pick up groceries and household essentials free of charge for anyone who needed it.
