In a press conference Monday afternoon, Governor Doug Ducey has delayed in-person instruction until at least August 17th. Some Arizona school districts were originally scheduled to start classes in less than a month, that will now change.

Though in-person instruction is prohibited, school districts will able to resume online learning before then.

A majority of the districts in Maricopa County were planning to return between August 3 and August 10.
