Brad Pitt cannot imagine the holidays without his children, all of whom he misses dearly.

A source recently told Page Six that the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor wishes he was closer to children Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old Knox and Vivienne, whom he shares with ex Angelina Jolie, especially this time of year.

"Brad is missing his kids and wishes he had a closer relationship with them, particularly with celebrating the holidays and his birthday this month."

The silver screen king will celebrate his 61st birthday on December 18th and would like for the milestone to be a family affair.

Shiloh Jolie legally filed to drop her surname in May, an action saddened her estranged father, additional sources reported to Page Six.

"They used to have a good relationship but that’s in the past and it breaks his heart. Brad feels like Angelina has turned his kids against him. He feels like Angelina knows exactly what she’s doing."

Maddox, Zahara, and Vivienne have also publicly chosen to drop their surnames on multiple occasions in what Pitt refers to as "deeper estrangement that has been brewing for years."

In June, the silver screen king told US Weekly that he hopes to "forge a bond with the kids as they get older and have a life of their own." In July, Pax was taken to the hospital after suffering serious injuries from an e-bike accident. Pitt was extremely "shocked" and "emotional" when he found out, and received a "steady flow of information" amid his son's recovery.

Pitt and Jolie divorced in 2016, and Jolie retained full custody of their six children while Pitt was granted only "therapeutic visits."
