Benson Boone is sharing his "Young American Heart" with the world in his latest "Magical Mystical" move.
The 22-year-old singer dropped his sophomore album American Heart on Friday (June 20), a follow-up to his 2024 debut Fireworks & Rollerblades. The 10-track record features singles "Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else," "Magical Mystical" and "Momma Song."
In addition to American Heart, Boone also dropped the album's fourth single "Mr Electric Blue" alongside an accompanying music video full of reference poking fun at negative comments from haters and online critics, from wearing shirts declaring him "inauthentic" and a "one hit wonder" to holding a sign directing onlookers to discount jumpsuits.
In a special message to iHeartRadio listeners, Boone explained that he wrote the track for his father as someone he looked up to as a "superhero" when he was a child.
