Taylor Swift just released Speak Now (Taylor's Version) 13 years after the original version was released in 2010 this past weekend. Some of the songs on the album are thought to be of Swift's ex-bf Taylor Lautner, who she dated in 2009.
At her Kansas City show on Friday July 7, Taylor Swift premiered the music video for one of her Vault songs "I Can See You (Taylor's Version)" which starred Lautner alongside Joey King (who was in her "Mean" music video in 2011). After premiering the video, she brought out the stars on stage.
Swift acknowledged Lautner's influence for the Speak Now era, saying "he was a very positive force in my life when I was making the Speak Now album..."
Tanya Rad's trending report today shared how it was important that although the Speak Now era was an era for many exes for Taylor Swift, her one ex made a positive impact so much so that they are still friendly over a decade later.
